Movies with Great Graphics

1. Tron Legacy

Directed by Joseph Kosinski

Starring: Jeff Bridges, Gerrit Hedlund, Olivia Wilde

I’ve always liked this film because it brings you to a whole new world. It brings you along Sam Flynn’s adventure. The graphics are cool, the music is composed by Daft Punk, and it has a great plot. I really like it because of all of the Sci-fi action that’s incorporated into the scenes. Also, if you like motorcycles, you’ll like parts of the film, too!

2. Ultraviolet

Directed by Kurt Wimmer

Starring: Milla Jovovich, Cameron Bright, Nick Chinlund

This movie also brings you to a different world. Another Sci-Fi Action film, Milla Jovovich plays the Marvel comic character Ultraviolet. She’s on a quest to redeem the child that can save her and all hemophages. I like this film because of the choreographed fight scenes. She’s also badass and ruthless, her character is really inspiring. She perseveres through anything and she does what’s right. She’s a femme fatale.

Recommended: if you like this film, watch Elektra.

3. Insurgent

Starring: Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Kate Winslet, Miles Teller, etc.

Part of the Divergent series, Insurgent is the sequel to Divergent. This movie is AWESOME. There are so many twists in the story. This film keeps you at the edge of your seat. Tris is also another femme fatale; she perseveres til’ the end and with a series of fights. The action is depicted nicely. The most dynamic and visually stimulating scene is at the end of the film when she reaches the final sim and changes the world!

The soundtrack music is also very dramatic, (it gives me goosebumps). It’s definitely a bit different than Divergent.

ADVICE: Please watch Divergent so you can understand Insurgent. Also, there will be a final movie in the trilogy coming out this year called Allegiant! Super excited.

4. Man of Steel

Directed by Zack Syder

Starring: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Russell Crowe, Harry Lennix, Kevin Costner, Laurence Fishborne, etc.

WARNING: If you don’t like long movies, don’t watch it.

This dramatic action film has a great story line. I personally LOVE Superman. Filmed by DC Comics, this movie depicts the emotional journey that Superman goes through in defeating his own people. There are some pretty weird and interesting scenes in this movie. The graphics are nice.

Recommended: Also watch the film Superman Returns, (starring Brandon Routh).Watch the original Superman films starring actor Christopher Reeves (RIP).

5. The Avengers

avengers

Directed by Joss Whedon

Starring: Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, etc.

This film is action-packed yet comedic. I love it! It’s great. I really think that Robert Downey Jr. brings the most comedy and Chris Evans’ persona are to die for. The story line is great and the scenes are filled with action and fighting.

Watch pretty much any film depicting Marvel characters:

  1. The Incredible Hulk
  2. Captain America: The First Avenger
  3. Captain America: Civil War
  4. Iron Man
  5. Iron Man 2
  6. Iron Man 3
  7. Thor
  8. Thor: The Dark World
  9. Avengers: Age of Ultron
  10. The Fantastic Four
  11. The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
  12. X Men Series
  13. The Amazing Spider Man 1 & 2 (Andrew Garfield)
  14. Spider Man 1,2, & 3 (Tobey McGuire)
  15. Daredevil
  16. Elektra
  17. Ultraviolet

There are more… Many more…

These are great films, and mostly action-packed with amazing graphics.
